Kayaks, paddleboards, the lake slide, the trampoline, the mini-golf course, the arcade, the campfire wood, the basketball hoops. Walk down, take it out, bring it back when you're done.

On the Water

The lake belongs to you.

Designated swimming area with a sturdy sand bottom, six single kayaks plus a double, a canoe, paddleboats, and adult paddleboards — all on courtesy checkout. The water trampoline and lake slide come out in early June and stay through August.

A nine-hole mini-golf course just for guests. Basketball with adjustable hoops. The arcade has pool, foosball, air hockey, and video games when the weather changes its mind.

For the Little Ones

A resort built for small hands.

A fenced Little Tykes playground for preschoolers. Lakeside swings — infant, big-kid, and the double-horse kind. A playhouse cabin with a working grill, a sand-castle zone with shovels and buckets, and an airplane teeter-totter that holds six kids under 70 pounds.

Country store

Bait, ice, maps, charcoal, ice cream, candy, basic groceries, t-shirts, souvenirs. Open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday — 7am to 8pm.

Marina + dock slip

One assigned dock slip is included with your cabin. Extras run $50 + MN sales tax. Boat ramp and trailer storage included. A 14′ non-motorized fishing boat rents for $100 per stay. Life jackets are $5 a day.

Free Wi-Fi

Hotspots throughout the resort. Cable TV with media players in every cabin.

Laundry

Coin-operated guest laundry on site.

Books, games, magazines

Loaner library, board games, and puzzles for the rainy afternoons.

Wildlife

Bald eagles, loons, chipmunks, and the occasional something larger. Bring binoculars.

A short drive in any direction.

Hiking + biking

The Paul Bunyan State Trail runs through Pequot Lakes. Easy ride into town for ice cream. Network of woods trails for the longer days.

Area golf

Six course choices within a thirty-minute drive — including The Pines at Grand View Lodge and the Deacon's Lodge.

Marina + boat rentals

Pontoons and fishing boats from a dozen local outfits. Fuel at Bertha Boatworks down the road. Ask at check-in for current contacts.

Whitefish Chain

Clamshell connects to thirteen lakes. Deep summer afternoon: pontoon out, lunch in Crosslake, slow trip home.
